Our Mission
At Cornerstone Tabernacle, our mission is to help people 1) experience God, 2) walk in freedom, 3) find their place, and 4) live with purpose.
Core Values
We believe that the human struggle is essential to our faith journey and as a result, we embrace authenticity and honesty. In this open and safe environment, hypocrisy runs low and repentance becomes a standard element of life.
We believe that joy is essential to successful Kingdom Living. It is the source of our strength to endure the hardships of life.
We believe that the greatest expression of our love and faith to God is extravagant displays of generosity. As we live generous lives, God works through us in miraculous ways.
We believe that selfless acts of love are the outpouring of our thriving relationship with the Lord. We will relentlessly reach out to our community to combat social injustice and bridge the gap between hurting, broken humanity and Jesus.
We believe that authentic discipleship is expressed through our connection with other believers. Connected living offers the support, accountability, and freedom that mankind is desperately seeking but cannot otherwise attain.
What We Believe
- The Bible is the inspired and only infallible and authoritative Word of God (2 Timothy 3:16).
- There is one God, eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost (2 Corinthians 13:14).
- In the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His future return to this earth in power and glory to rule a thousand years (Matthew 16:16; 1 Corinthians 15:3,4).
- In the blessed hope, which is the rapture of the church, at Christ’s coming (Titus 2:13).
- The only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the precious blood of Christ (1 Peter 1:18,19).
- Regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential for personal salvation (John 3:3-5).
- The redemptive work of Christ on the cross provides healing of the human body in answer to believing prayer (1 Peter 2:24).
- The baptism of the Holy Spirit, according to Acts 2:4, is given to believers who ask for it (Acts 2:39).
- In the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a holy life (Galatians 5:16).
- In the resurrection of both the saved and the lost, the one to everlasting life and the other to everlasting damnation. (John 5:28,29).
